Inspirations

The following figure is compilation or mood board of visual illustrations created by children oriented illustrators that inspire the visual aspect of this project. These illustrations are consistently applying bright color to its vector graphics. Some applying subtle textures to enhance the illustrations. This was shown in previous presentations for the college.

An interactive gym wall created by SAGA in Quebec City also inspires me to create the physical ball idea (http://www.play-lu.com/).

Another inspiration comes from the digital graffiti exhibition at Pittsburgh Children’s Museum created by 3 graduate students at Carnegie Mellon University for a course project, which allows children to throw coloured plastic balls which will be detected using Kinect and digital paint splatter of the same colour will be projected on the wall (Digital Graffiti, n.d.).
