Educational Games and Its Design

Educational games can be referred to as digital games designed for educational enrichment with using interactive multimedia technology (Ritzhaupt, Higgins & Aller, 2010). Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) managed to prove that games are very useful to improve player’s logic and understanding through a simple coding program called Scratch (Clark, 2006). In 2016, Vanderbilt University and partners at Legends of Learning prove that digital educational games improve students’ test result by 50% compared to writing test within three weeks (Ascione, 2017).
